Broker’s note
The usual objection to a VanDutch is the bow. People line them up against other day boats that have a sunpad or seating up forward, they see a flush foredeck, and they walk away.
I read it the other way. No seating on the bow is exactly why you get so much more interior space out of the same length.
The new boats have also dropped the beds and put seating areas in the cabin instead. Nobody sleeps in these boats. It took a while for the layout to catch up to that, and on this generation it finally has.
The 56 also carries a hardtop, so you have somewhere to mount your equipment. Radar, Starlink, night vision camera, all of it.
